Hey guys! I made a RP board as an incentive for people to come and join us for us to have an RPing spot. I love me some good role play. I'm shit at writing stories but I can RP for hours given the amount of time i get for it.
There are rules though. I don't want to be too restrictive because that takes the fun out of it.
Aside from the main forum rules:
1. Try to pick who's gonna be who before starting. I say try to. I know someone might wanna join in later as a different character, that's ok. Also, it would be really nice if whoever starts it, put a list of who RPs as who in the first post and constantly edit it if need be.
2. Keep OC usage to a minimum. Use common sense on this one. Some people have tons of OCs and when someone who's familiar with just the canon characters comes in, they feel a bit left out when they see all these characters they dont know. Not to say that OCs aren't allowed, just when you involve more OCs than canon it gets confusing; at least add a small profile of your OC on your first post so we know who you are.
3. No deliberately messing up other ppl's stories. Like if someone comes in and says "Anton came in with a bomb and they all died. the end", just ignore them. If you really want that to happen, be actually involved the RP and make it a part of the story, e.g., avoid making it miserable for others.
4. Any type of RP is allowed. Campfire style, assigned roles, etc. but pick a style and stick to it.
